Overview
The Start Chat Bot Action is used to begin a text message conversation with the active user on a Journey. It is similar to the Navigate to Web Flow action, but instead of moving to a new canvas, it initiates a conversation on the chat channel of the Journey.
Use Cases
- Initiating a follow-up text to a user
- Send a text to a user to confirm their phone number
Action Properties
Chat Bot
The Chat Bot to start. This Chat Bot will send text messages to the current actor's phone number. There must be an SMS resource set in Configuration Builder.
Chat Bots can be created and managed from Chat Bot Builder.
