Start Voice Bot

The Start Voice Bot Action is used to begin a voice conversation with the active user on a Journey. It is similar to the Navigate to Web Flow action, but instead of taking the user to another Web Flow, it initiates a conversation on the voice channel of the Journey.


Use Cases

  • Placing a follow-up call to a user
  • Transferring a user to a representative


Voice Bot

The Voice Bot to start. This Voice Bot will use the current actor's phone number to start calling. There must be a voice resource set in Settings.

Voice Bots can be created and managed from Voice Bots Builder.


If the destination Voice Bot has any Variables in it, they can be optionally set using Airscript Expressions.


In this example, after the user places their order, a Voice Bot is triggered for them to continue to a self-service pathway to track their order.
